That the stars were twinkling

shining silent and bright

standing out with pride

sending their light

for our hearts to unite

My Sun

I used to live in a world so dark

The deep darkness of an endless night

But when I first laid eyes upon you

It was like witnessing dawn

A breathtaking myriad of light

High up there, you are so far away

I marvel at your heavenly beauty

And I know I’ll never be tall enough

To reach out and to touch you

Yet you still seem so near to me

And even when dark clouds gather

Obscuring your shining face by smart

Your light still trickles through

And I can still feel your warmth

Melting the icy wall around my heart

And eventually when my sun sets

By night the light is again withdrawn

But the darkness will be different now

Because this time I have hope

A hope for the light of a new dawn

Winking from afar

One spark of endless beauty

Remnant of everlasting glory

The solo in Universe’s harmony

pervasive

elusive

single grain of sand

slipping through my hand

flicker of eternity

revealed specially to me

first it seemed so far away

but now it has come to stay

Like a fallen star

Near no longer far

Wish come true

I found you

For I see very clearly that in your eye

All the stars of the universe lie

Light send from above
