This website should look fine with a screen resolution of 800x600 pixels or higher. It was tested in a variety of (recent) browsers: Internet Explorer v8, Mozilla Firefox v3, Opera v9, Safari v4, Google Chrome v2. Javascript is only needed to enable you to see the quotes on the home page, so rest assured you're not missing a lot by having it turned off. Feel free to report any issues via email ("contact" button).

The font used in the banner is "Dragonfly" by Rick Mueller and, to the best of my knowledge, is freeware (you can pick it up at http://www.fontspace.com/rick-mueller/dragonfly for example)
The snippet of code to randomly generate quotes comes from CodeLifter.com and its use was termed free for all those interested. The quotes themselves were gathered from all over the internet (thank you, Google) and I tried to attribute them to their correct authors. Some of my favourite links for quotes are over on the links page.
The NaNoWriMo buttons on the "fiction" page, as you might have guessed, come from the NaNoWriMo website.
All the other stuff you can find on this website is original, i.e. the stories archived under the 'fiction' heading and the web design including banner photomanipulation and drawings. Therefore, I would kindly ask you not to reproduce any or part of it without my express permission (which you will receive in almost every situation, I'm just curious as to where my stuff ends up).
Oh, well, to be exact, I'm not sure who took the actual picture in the banner anymore (either one of my parents or my sister), but for those interested: it was at the animal reserve of the "Domaine des Grottes de Han" in Han-Sur-Lesse in Belgium. Unless I'm very much mistaken, I believe the animals were tarpans in their pre-Photoshop life...
